We mourn Lavonne Jarvis, our sister in Christ

1946 – 2023

Our dear sister, Lavonne Jarvis, went to be with the Lord on Thursday 9th of February, 2023. She was a mother, wife, grandmother, the twin sister of Yvonne Martin, sister-in-law to Pastor Gary Martin, and a much-loved friend to so many people.

Lavonne loved the Lord passionately and has been a pillar of Cherry Carson Church for over 40 years. She was the church treasurer and a very active member of the Women’s Ministry with her sister, Yvonne.

We pray for all her children in their loss. She will be dearly missed by her friends and the entire congregation mourns her passing.

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.

John 11:25-26 KJV
