The Gospel of St John was given to me by a friend. One morning, it was Friday the 25th of January 1985 I was cleaning my room and came upon the gospel and started reading a page at random. I had a quick prayer before looking at it. I read John 5:24 which states that whosoever believed in Jesus passes from death to life. While I was reading this my father unbeknownst to me was dying 1,000 miles away.
